Compass College Acceptances and Merit Based Aid

Compass College Acceptances and Merit Based Aid

Congratulations to the Compass seniors who have already received college acceptances! So far, this includes Bennington, Hampshire, Eckerd, Evergreen, Quinnipiac, Prescott, University of Montana, California College of Art, and Keene State.

We are always impressed to where Compass students get accepted and the generous merit based aid offers they receive from these schools, sometimes $50,000 dollar per year or more!

This merit based aid reflects the educational value of Compass. The colleges are impressed with the breadth of experiences evident on the Compass transcript (along with teacher recommendations that highlight specific individual accomplishments of our students). Even though Exploratories and Intensives cover short, quarter long periods, the variety and uniqueness of these classes stand out in the admissions process. Even more compelling is the list of titles from Project Week, Winterm and Senior Project, along with travel experiences, leadership opportunities and portfolio work.

At Compass, we know the diverse Compass program challenges and supports students as they grow. This variety of experience develops a breadth of skills that colleges find valuable, often to the tune of tens of thousands of dollars annually. Colleges see the potential of Compass graduates to contribute to campus life in a positive way as good students and good people.
