Saturday, March 4th, 6:00pm-10:00pm.
Join us for an evening of great food, great music, and dancing to support our Compass Junior Class Global Connection Trip to Cuba!
We truly believe learning occurs beyond the classroom walls and want our students to feel connected to the community from within our school to the world at large. We believe that our students benefit from seeing themselves as global citizens, connected to people throughout the world, and members of a global community where they may find themselves everywhere at home.
We may be the first school in Vermont to travel to Cuba since the travel ban has been lifted! Help us ensure that every student can have this transformative experience regardless of family income. This is possible only because of support from friends such as you!
The evening begins at 6:00 p.m. with a fabulous, multi-course dinner, and a silent auction which will include gift certificates to area businesses, fine arts, furniture, clothing, and much more! Live music will be provided by Eugene & Julian’s Latin Party Band!
All proceeds of the evening will benefit the Compass junior class Global Connections trip to Cuba. The Global Connections Program focuses on cultural immersion and international understanding. It is an integral part of the junior class curriculum, inspiring students to broaden their horizons as global citizens.
This fundraising dinner and concert is key to making this travel program affordable to all 11th graders, regardless of family income.
